Mage Spells updated for 4.3

This area lists the current mage spells in World of Warcraft. I will be keeping this area up to take when patches or expansions happen. Note some of these spells require you have the talent required in order to cast them. Other spells require you discover them within the game. Also you will learn more spells as you level when you first start the game you will only have a couple of spells. Another note is talents and glyphs can alter how spells work and how strong they are.

Mage Arcane Spells

Causes an explosion of arcane magic around the caster, causing 331 to 358 Arcane damage to all targets within 10 yards.
18% of base mana, Instant cast
Blasts the target with energy, dealing 1625 to 1888 Arcane damage. Each time you cast Arcane Blast, the damage of Arcane Blast and Arcane Explosion is increased by 10%, Arcane Blast casting time is reduced by 0.1 seconds and Arcane Blast mana cost is increased by 150%. Effect stacks up to 4 times and lasts 6 seconds or until any Arcane damage spell except Arcane Blast or Arcane Explosion is cast.
5% of base mana, 40 yd range, 2 second cast
Teleports the caster 20 yards forward, unless something is in the way. Also frees the caster from stuns and bonds.
12% of base mana, Instant cast, 15 second cooldown
Transforms the enemy into a sheep, forcing it to wander around for up to 50 sec. While wandering, the sheep cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.
7% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 1.7 second cast
Gain 15% of your mana instantly and another 45% of your total mana over 6 seconds.
Channeled, 4 minute cooldown
Counters the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 8 seconds. Generates a high amount of threat.
9% of base mana, 40 yd range, Instant cast, 24 second cooldown
Launches three waves of Arcane Missiles at the enemy over 2 sec, causing 404 Arcane damage per wave. Each offensive spell you cast has a 100% chance to activate Arcane Missiles.
40 yd range, Channeled
Warp the flow of time, increasing melee, ranged, and spell casting speed by 30% for all party and raid members. Lasts 40 sec. Allies receiving this effect will become unstuck in time, and be unable to benefit from Bloodlust, Heroism, or Time Warp again for 10 minutes.
26% of base mana, Instant cast, 5 minutes cooldown
Fades the caster to invisibility over 3 seconds, reducing threat each second. The effect is cancelled if you perform any actions. Lasts 20 seconds.
16% of base mana, Instant cast, 3 minutes cooldown
Steals a beneficial magic effect from the target. This effect lasts a maximum of 2 minutes.
40% of base mana, 40 yd range, Instant cast
Begins a ritual that creates a refreshment table. Raid members can click the table to acquire Conjured mana food. The tables lasts for 3 minute or 50 charges. Requires the caster and 2 additional party members to complete the ritual. In order to participate, all players must right-click the refreshment portal and not move until the ritual is complete.
27% of base mana, Channeled, 5 minute cooldown, Reagents: Arcane Powder x 2
Increases your resistance to all magic by 44 and causes you to regenerate 3% of your maximum mana every 5 sec. In addition, the duration of all harmful Magic effects used against you is reduced by 35%. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Mage at any time. Lasts 30 minutes.

Turtle
Transforms the enemy into a turtle, forcing it to wander around for up to 50 sec. While wandering, the turtle cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.
7% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 2 second cast

Black Cat
Transforms the enemy into a harmless black cat, forcing it to pussyfoot around for up to 50 sec. While wandering, the cat cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.
7% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 1.7 second cast
Polymorph
Rabbit
Transforms the enemy into a harmless rabbit, forcing it to scamper around for up to 50 seconds. While wandering, the rabbit cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.
7% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 1.7 second cast
Transforms the enemy into a pig, forcing it to wander around for up to 50 seconds. While wandering, the pig cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.
7% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 1.7 second cast
Infuses all party and raid members with brilliance, increasing their maximum mana by 2126 and spell power by 6% for 1 hour. If target is in your party or raid, all party and raid members will be affected.
26% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast
Creates 3 copies of the caster nearby, which cast spells and attack the mage's enemies. Lasts 30 seconds.
10% of base mana, Instant cast, 3 minute cooldown
Conjures a mana gem that can be used to instantly restore 11800 to 12405 mana.
75% of base mana, 3 second cast
Conjures mana food providing the mage and their allies with something to eat. Conjured items disappear if logged out for more than 15 minutes.
40% of base mana, 3 second cast
Absorbs 1485 + (81% of Spell Power) damage, draining mana instead. Drains 1 mana per damage absorbed. Lasts 1 minute.
Instant, 12 second cooldown
Creates a portal, teleporting group members that use it to Darnassus.

Mage Fire Spells

Launches a Flame Orb forward from the Mage's position, dealing 228.01 Fire damage every second to the closest enemy target for 15 secs.
6% of base mana, 40 yd range, Channeled, 1 minute cooldown
Launches a bolt of frostfire at the enemy, causing 772 to 985 Frostfire damage and slowing the target by 40% for 9 seconds. This spell will be checked against the lower of the target's Frost and Fire resists.
9% of base mana, 40 yd range, 2.5 second cast
Calls down a pillar of fire, burning all enemies within the area for 557 to 683 Fire damage and an additional 384 Fire damage over 8 seconds.
30% of base mana, 40 yd range, 2 second cast
Causes 190 Fire damage when hit, increases your spell critical strike chance by 3%, and reduces the chance you are critically hit by 5%. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Mage at any time. Lasts 30 minutes.
Instant cast
Scorch the enemy for 669 to 794 Fire damage.
8% of base mana, 40 yd range, 1.5 second cast
Blasts the enemy for 954 to 1131 Fire damage.
21% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast, 8 second cooldown
Hurls a fiery ball that causes 1047 to 1333 Fire damage.

Mage Frost Spells

Description
Summons a Ring of Frost, taking 3 seconds to coalesce. Enemies entering the fully-formed ring will become frozen for 10 seconds. Lasts 12 seconds. 10 yd radius.
7% of base mana, 30 yd range, Channeled, 2 minute cooldown
Reduces physical damage taken by 15%. If an enemy strikes the caster, they may have their movement slowed by 30% and the time between their attacks increased by 20% for 5 seconds. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Mage at any time. Lasts 30 minutes.
Instant cast
Ice shards pelt the target area doing 4064 Frost damage over 8 seconds.
74% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, Channeled
You become encased in a block of ice, protecting you from all physical attacks and spells for 10 seconds, but during that time you cannot attack, move or cast spells. Also causes Hypothermia, preventing you from recasting Ice Block for 30 seconds.
15 Mana, Instant cast, 5 minute cooldown
Deals 351 to 448 Frost damage to an enemy target, damage doubled against frozen targets.
6% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, Instant cast
Targets in a cone in front of the caster take 751 to 822 Frost damage and are slowed by 60% for 8 seconds.
25% of base mana, Instant cast, 10 second cooldown
Blasts enemies near the caster for 367 to 427 Frost damage and freezes them in place for up to 8 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect.
7% of base mana, Instant cast, 25 second cooldown
Launches a bolt of frost at the enemy, causing 723 to 922 Frost damage and slowing movement speed by 40% for 9 seconds.
13% of base mana, 35 Yard Range, 1.5 second cast
